Hardly a surprise that Giorgio Armani would have a home just outside of St Tropez, while the hustle and bustle of the town and its reputation as a mediteranean playground for the wealthy and priviledged is hardly a secret and seems a natural fit for the designer, his home there is uncharacteristically, for the local, laidback and simple.
The exterior could be any farmhouse in the south of France. The interior spaces are done up in Armani’s typical warm and comfortable style.
More than anything though what gets us all excited is the glass enclosed “greenhouse” he’s created as a wrap around living space, with casual dining and lounging areas, billowy curtains to shade the space, also allowing the beautiful light from the region to shimmer through.
