Just in time for the New Year, since most of us have probably already been on our European ski vacation… From our last post where we covered Giorgio Armani’s home in St Tropez, we dug back through the archives and our memories from some time back where Architectural digest did a spread on his winter getaway in St Moritz. An equally beautiful home, its no surprise that Armani would have an eye for the perfect.
The exterior of the home is rather plain, although he added a traditional scratch-work sgraffito decoration which enlivens the facades in an Armani subtlety.
The interiors are stark, modern, but warm in a way that only Armani can do. The elements work well with his color palette and material selection. Case in point the sofas and table lights .
Oh and the chairs to.
The shift of color into the dining room, to the ocre on the walls. Oranges and burnt reds.
